Children and parent lessons: Minilabs
Very few parents really studied for being a great parent even though it is one of the most challending life functions. Due to profound studies of the child development at the international institutions and years of experience we can offer you a view at the education of your child that you might not even consider yet. We do not want to tell you what is good or what is wrong. We only want to support you in being such a parent that you wish to be.
Lessons for parents and children from 18 months to 3 years
Regular weekly lessons are mainly for parents who want more practical information what to do with their toddler and how to talk to them. They serve also to toddler's who try out many challenging activities and get used to a group of more people. Toddlers are refreshed by new activities and parents get inspired by the lesson leader.
You can use the lessons for the smoothest transition of your child to toddler's group or primary school. Toddler's get used to the environment and teachers and easily transfer to group without their parents.
Lessons are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10.30 to 11.45.
Children are active during their alert time. Their work is to build up their personality due to personal experience with their close environment. Therefore we very respect, honor and support their very meaningful playes and call them work.
Childern work with Montessori materials assisted by the leader and parent. We concentrate especially on the development of motor and language skills. Children activities are led by their motivation that mirror their brain maturation. The aim of the lessons is to give opportunities to children to be sensefully active and become independent and respectful.
When parents do not have the tendency to manage their child all the time, they can let go and let in the necessary peace and restore the love to their child. They can feel inspired by the presented activities and prepared articles and consult the interests of the child and procedures and solutions to some problematic situations.
Capacity
Capacity of one workshop is 5 children and 5 parents.
Workshop leaders
Tereza Hudcová and Karolina Toušková, the guides in the children's community, both studied Montessori pedagogy for children from 0 to 3 years.
Dates
The lessons take place in two semesters, from September to January and from February to June.
The first semester starts with the introductory meeting for parents (without children) on Wednesday September 9th from 18.30 to 19.30. The meeting is crucial and prerequisite for new incomers. We will show you easy but smart activities and principles due to which you can lead your child to independence and respect to their own needs and to the needs of others. You can decide after the introductory meeting if you will sign up for the lessons or not. The introductory meeting is for free. Because of big interest, we recommend to reserve your spot in the parent children lessons via contact form.
The winter semester starts in September 10th, 2021.
Fee and cancellation conditions
3 800 Kč per semester. Account no. 2001366281/2010 (write the name of your child in the note). The fee is fixed no matter the amount of absence hours of your child. By having paid the given semester you agree with the fee and cancellation conditions.
